Course

This thematic course addresses energy and compound exchanges between continental surfaces and the atmosphere, integrating approaches from physical chemistry, ecology, and biogeochemistry.

It aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in major biogeochemical cycles (carbon, nitrogen) and their interactions with surface conditions (soil moisture, land use, etc.).

The program combines:

Theoretical courses on exchange mechanisms and their modeling.
Practical work including field data analysis and the use of simple models.

The objective is to train participants in observation, analysis, and modeling methods applied to these interfaces, based on a targeted bibliography.

This training is intended for students and researchers who wish to explore these topics in greater depth from a multidisciplinary perspective.
